Meiling Group was founded in 1958, and was recognized as a standardized joint-stock enterprise by the Shandong Provincial People's Government in 1997. In 2016, it was publicly transferred in the national small and medium-sized enterprise share transfer system, that is, the "National Equities Exchange and Quotations". There are more than 1,000 employees in the company, of which 30% are engineers and technicians with college degree or above. The company occupies a total area of 200,000 square meters. It has two directly-owned units: Shandong Meiling Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Midland Environmental Technology (Zibo) Co., Ltd. The company is mainly engaged in the two major industries: machinery manufacturing and environmental protection water, and is mainly engaged in design and manufacture of large high-pressure vessels ( A1), auto parts, high-strength fasteners, heavy forgings, centrifugal fans for air conditioning, energy-saving and environmental protection equipment; design, construction, operation and evaluation of environmental engineering; urban water supply; production of high-quality mineral water; industrial and domestic sewage treatment, sludge treatment, power transmission and distribution, gasoline and diesel sales, real estate development, etc.
The group has more than 2000 sets of advanced equipment facilities such as riveting, casting, forging, machining, power, water treatment and mechanical performance testing, metal material testing, non-metallic testing, non-destructive testing, water quality testing, air testing, etc., which can meet the needs of production and inspection. The company has obtained large-scale high-pressure vessel (A1 design included) special equipment production license, ASME "U" steel stamp authorization, NBIC "NB" steel stamp authorization, pressure piping components special equipment manufacturing license, environmental engineering professional qualifications for contracting, qualification for environmental engineering and drainage engineering design, ecological construction and environmental engineering consulting. The company has established Shandong Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, Shandong High-efficiency Energy-saving Heat Exchanger Engineering Technology Research Center, High-concentration Organic Wastewater and High-salt Chemical Wastewater Processing Technology R&D Center, Shandong Academician Workstation and Shandong Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base, etc. and has obtained 111 authorized patents, including 7 invention patents and 104 utility models.
